Written by Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years is an intensely personal look at the relationship between a writer and an actress told from both points of view.

The Bard is back on the Players Guild stage! In collaboration with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival, The Players Guild Theatre presents one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays, The Comedy of Errors. It tells the story of two sets of identical twins. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusans encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-incestuous seduction, the arrest of Antipholus of Ephesus, and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Set between the lamp post and the castle at Cair Paravel on the Western Sea lies Narnia, a mystical land where animals hold the power of speech...woodland fauns conspire with men...dark forces, bent on conquest, gather at the world's rim to wage war against the realm's rightful king...and the great lion Aslan is the only hope. Into this enchanted world comes a group of unlikely travelers. These ordinary boys and girls, when faced with peril, learn extraordinary lessons in courage, self-sacrifice, friendship and honour.

His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city, his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue, yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical. Containing fourteen songs, ten characters, three actors, and a band, Tick, Tick...Boom! takes you on the playwright/composer's journey that led to the Broadway blockbuster, Rent. Set in 1990, this traditional book musical is filled with instantly appealing melodies, and a unique blend of pop and musical theatre styles. A funny play from the Book of Job transferring the scene to a Long Island mansion where resides a tycoon, his wife, a prodigal son, and a pair of kookie twins. Then one night a messenger from God enters with a big G on his sweatshirt. Our modern Job won't renounce God, so a fire is sent to wipe him out factory and home. Everything becomes a test of his faith, including his family. He tries listing his prodigal son's qualities and can't think of any. His wife asks him how he can love a God who makes him suffer and he says his prodigal son makes him suffer and he loves him. He believes he's been chosen to show how much a man can love God. He gets an itch, then, neuralgia, tennis elbow and hemorrhoids. Having lost everything, God in the form of the messenger answers him. The messenger admits losing and asks for a letter of recommendation.

This story revolves around the search for a true princess for Prince Peter. The prince needs to marry a real princess. The kingdom can remain free only as long as there is a Royal King and Queen on the throne. He travels the world experiencing a host of exciting adventures, searching for a real princess, but returns home disappointed. One evening, a young woman claiming to be a real princess, seeks shelter from a storm in the prince’s castle. The prince’s mother decides to test the validity of her claim by placing a single pea on a bedstead and piling 20 mattresses and twenty feather beds atop it. Will the princess pass the test?
